Dr Jacob Ellis

Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr Jacob Ellis is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist. He is experienced in working with children and young people with a wide range of challenges including presentations in mental health crisis and difficulties related to ADHD, autism, mood, anxiety and functional symptoms. He is passionate about offering detailed, narrative child-centred assessments to accurately diagnose neurodevelopmental conditions, consider their impact on day-to-day function and agree practical next steps with families.

He has worked in community CAMHS, inpatient and acute hospital environments over his career. He has experience in the assessment and treatment of ADHD/autism from his work with the neurodevelopmental service in Tower Hamlets CAMHS and the Social Communication Disorders Clinic at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
